Peter Aschwanden
Swiss filmmaker Peter Aschwanden was born in 1949. He has directed numerous documentaries. His films are intense and intimate portraits of individuals and their milieus.
Peter Aschwanden has lived and worked in Capetown, Paris, Munich and Berlin. After returning to his home town of Basel, he started working for TV networks such as Swiss Public Television, arte and 3sat. He also made films for private companies and nonprofit organizations. Peter Aschwanden died in June 2010 while working on the soap factory production «Chocolate for Nina».
